Soccer’s out; football’s in. Take that pithy little start to this article with a pinch of salt; soccer’s always being played somewhere (and here in the UK, soccer – or football – season IS just about to start). But now that the 2026 World Cup is but a distant memory, and some of its players have hung up their boots for a moment of rest, it’s time for football to shine.

And you know who’s ready? Auntie Anne’s. The pretzel brand has followed up on its slew of summer announcements (mozzarella stuffed pretzel nuggets and pretzel giveaways being just two of them) with the return of a shareable bucket o’ dough. Let’s discuss.
Auntie Anne’s Football Buckets
On August 19, Auntie Anne’s will once more drop its Football Buckets, which we saw earlier this year over Superbowl weekend, and which the chain has been fond of rolling out for special occasions for a minute now. In each bucket, you can get 2 Pretzel Nugget flavors and 3 dips – and the buckets come with built-in dip holders, so you can use one hand to smother your nuggets in sauce, and the other to gesticulate wildly at the TV when the rival team gets a touchdown.
These are very much intended for sharing, and both their size and price point reflect this. We’re not 100% sure how much these will cost this time around, but back in February, they were priced at around $38.99 to $42.99 – and I’d imagine that wouldn’t have changed that much in just over six months. Start planning your watch parties, people.
Participate At Participating Locations
Auntie Anne’s Football Buckets will be available at participating locations, and you can get them through both first-party and third-party delivery. Those mozzarella stuffed pretzel nuggets are still available, too…Auntie Anne’s, throw a couple in the bucket for us, will ya?
We have to admit that we didn’t expect a pretzel brand to be one of the first out of the gate with a football-focused offer this year, but apparently, it’s in vogue for baked goods lines to get into the sporting spirit. Last week, Pillsbury brought back its Football Cookie Dough, precut in the shape of…you guessed it…footballs. Look, if it gives everyone a brief respite from the endless onslaught of pumpkin spice flavored baked goods, we’re all here for it. You have to take your wins where you can find them, after all.
