Iced Coffee Fans Will Love Blue Bell’s New Flavor

It’s been a big few weeks for Blue Bell. Just five short days ago, we were reporting on the fact that it was bringing back its Strawberry Cheesecake flavor for a limited time (which was a slightly baffling move, given that we’re plunging headfirst into fall – but look, we’re not going to complain about the increased presence of strawberry cheesecake ice cream on supermarket shelves at any time of the year). Now, Blue Bell’s struck again with a new flavor, which feels slightly more autumnal, no less delicious, and precision-engineered to appeal to iced coffee lovers.

Blue Bell White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream

Yesterday, Blue Bell confirmed on its Instagram that it was bringing out its new White Chocolate Mocha flavor, and it’s in stores now. Blue Bell says that this flavor is a “delicious coffee-flavored ice cream with white chocolate-flavored flakes and a vanilla-flavored whipped cream swirl.” It’s basically a sweet iced coffee in scoopable form, which obviously sounds utterly, transcendently delicious. I’m imagining topping it with graham crackers and some strawberry syrup, maybe a couple of extra sprinkles on top, and let me tell you, I’m getting huuuungry. And I don’t even like mocha flavors that much.

Blue Bell’s new flavor is available in half-gallon and pint sizes, and you can check out where it’s being stocked on the brand’s website. While it’s not an out-and-out fall theme, mochas definitely have a slightly autumnal feel to them, so I see the vision here. As always, it probably won’t stick around for too long, so move now or forever hold your peace.

Lot Of Iced Coffee Lovers Out There…

Blue Bell’s announcement of its new White Chocolate Mocha flavor ushered in much excitement from the stands – by which I mean, the comment section on its Instagram post. “Oh sweet mercy!! I may need an extra freezer just for this!!!” said one enthusiastic comment, while others repeatedly said how delicious it sounds. A few people did point out the relative absence of chocolate flavors in Blue Bell’s line-up, and it’s a fair point that this would have been a great opportunity for it to lean into a chocolate moment here. But…it didn’t. This one’s white chocolate, and that’s not gonna change any time soon; these are the cards we’ve been dealt.
