Oh Milanos, the cookie I eat when I want to feel fancy. Today, we’ve got our hands on a new, limited-edition, seasonal Milano flavor: Caramel Café Au Lait Milanos. I don’t know exactly what season these are supposed to belong to. I found them in the Easter section, but I don’t see Caramel Café Au Lait as a particularly bunny-adjacent flavor. This time last year, we got to try London Fog-flavored Milano cookies; maybe this is the season for…hot drinks?

Regardless, I’ve got a bag of new Milanos and I’m excited to find out whether they’re good. (I mean, I know they’ll be good, but will they be “new best Milano” good?) Let’s crack open these new white chocolate Milanos.

New Milano Flavor!

Pepperidge Farm Milano Caramel Café Au Lait Cookies

Pros: Move over, stroopwafel: This is the cookie we should all be pairing with our hot drinks. The caramel and coffee flavors are surprisingly subtle, letting the high-quality shortbread cookie flavor stand on its own. What that means is that these are truly gorgeable cookies. If I wasn’t so dedicated to getting a wide range of opinions before writing this piece, I’d have eaten the entire bag myself in one sitting. Here’s a pro tip: Grab a bag of these new Milanos at Target and a drink from that Target’s Starbucks to dip them in. Make sure you park behind the store so no one sees you going to town on the bag.

Cons: Some of my fellow taste-testers wished the caramel and coffee flavors were a little stronger compared to the base cookie flavor. I think they should learn to be grateful when I hand them a delicious cookie.

Where can I find this new Milano cookie flavor for myself?

While it seemed like this new Milano flavor was a Target exclusive, there are product listings for this flavor at a few other grocery stores like Publix. That said, I’ve only seen these at Target stores, so I’d start there if you’re looking to track them down. If you’re lucky enough to live near a Pepperidge Farm Outlet store, like I do, you might even be able to find a few bags of these at a discount once the season(?) is over.
