New Fritos Flavor!

REVIEW: Fritos Flavor Twists Lime & Jalapeno Corn Chips

Pros: These new Fritos have a much better balance of sweetness and spiciness than I anticipated. The flavors hit you in the order that they are labeled on the bag: first the sweetness of the lime and then the spiciness of the jalapeno. Seriously, the spice does not hold back. This new Frito flavor is a fantastic blend of flavors and I’d love to find a good dip to pair them with. Perhaps the new Ghost Pepper Salsa from Tostitos?

Cons: When I think of Fritos Twists I think of the Honey BBQ flavor. And while these are definitely very solid, they are no Honey BBQ flavored Fritos Twists. As I was eating these, I couldn’t help but find myself craving the Twists that I know and love. While the Lime & Jalapeno Flavor Twists are terrific and I’d definitely get them again, sometimes I think it’s better to just stick with the classics. As an additional potential con for some readers out there: If you are not someone who can handle spice, these might be too much for you.
