I feel like we just discussed seven new Frito-Lay snacks that are hitting shelves soon, but Frito-Lay has us feeling like it’s Groundhog Day because we’ve got seven more NEW Frito-Lay releases that are hitting shelves soon that you will definitely want to know about—courtesy of the super snack bestie duo of Team Supernova and SnachWithZach!
SPICY DILL PICKLE RUFFLES
A big trend for 2025 seems to be pickle flavored snacks. We noticed this trend at this year’s Sweets & Snacks Expo in Indianapolis, and Frito-Lay themselves has already indulged with the Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Cheetos, which have done so well they are having a third batch sent out as we speak. Now, Frito-Lay is bringing another contender to the table: Spicy Dill Pickle Ruffles! These are set to release in stores mid-June and won’t be exclusive to any store in particular. I have a suspicion that these chips will go very well with a good ranch dip!
CHEETOS FLAMIN’ HOT CHEDDAR BBQ
Chester Cheetah is also dropping a new spicy snack of his own: Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Cheddar BBQ! These are hitting shelves as we speak (or as you read, rather) and will be exclusive to Walmart locations.
INTERNATIONAL INSPIRED LAY’S
Once again, International-inspired Lay’s are making a return to shelves. Please give a warm welcome back to Lay’s Honey Butter, Wavy Magic Masala, and Red Thai Curry (formerly a Kroger exclusive, now getting a wider release). Sources say that none of these flavors should be exclusive.
LAY’S FARMHOUSE CHEESE & RANCH
This unique and brand new Lay’s flavor is reportedly set to launch at Sam’s Club sometime in the near future. SnachWithZach speculates we may see it this summer, but we have no official confirmation on a date just yet.
LAY’S BISCUITS AND GRAVY
Recently we talked about Lay’s Do Us a Flavor promotion, in which fans nominate their own flavor ideas for a chance to win a cash prize from Frito-Lay. According to sources, Frito-Lay reportedly plans to launch the 2015 Do Us a Flavor winner—Biscuits and Gravy—in mid-June! So far, we know that this launch is definitely planned for Dollar General, but it is not currently clear if it will launch outside of Dollar General or if it’ll be exclusive. Either way, I never had the opportunity to try Biscuits and Gravy Lay’s when they originally released, so sign me right up!
