Hellmann’s New Mayo Is The Latest To Jump On A 2026 Trend

We thought we were through it, people. We thought we’d got to the end of the pickle-shaped tunnel we’ve been walking through for the last few years. The food world has been held in the salty, vinegary grip of dill pickle flavors of late, and 2026 saw no let-up in pickly products, as manufacturers and brands sought to extract every last tart drop of juice out of the trend. Pickle buffalo sauce, pickle crackers, dill pickle Fritos, and pickle Pepsi are just a few of the items we’ve had hurtling towards us this year.

And then…silence. In the last couple of months, things have felt suspiciously quiet when it comes to pickle flavors. That figurative moratorium has been broken, though, by Hellmann’s, who have just launched a new Pickle Mayo. We are so back. 

Hellmann’s Pickle Mayo

A few days ago, Hellmann’s Canada announced that they’re releasing new Pickle Mayo, available now. Made with real Canadian dill pickles, the mayonnaise is the latest in a line of flavored mayos from the brand, but this one is arguably the most internet-friendly. Leaning into this vibe, Hellmann’s has teamed up with food creator Logan Moffitt to promote the mayonnaise – and if you’re not acquainted, Moffitt is known for his cucumber salads and putting a sprinkle of MSG into a bunch of his recipes. “I’ve spent a lot of time proving there’s more than one way to eat a cucumber, so becoming ‘The Pickle Guy’ felt like the right step,” said Moffitt in the mayo’s press release. 

As pickle-infused products go, mayonnaise is, admittedly, one of the more logical ones. The two flavors meet all the time in sandwiches, burgers, and salads, after all, so combining the two in one bottle doesn’t feel too wacky. If you’re in Canada, you can find it at major retailers across the country.

I’m Not In Canada…

You won’t want for pickle mayos in the US, either. Heinz, Kraft, Ayoh!…they all have their own versions. In fact, we tried Kraft’s a few years ago and gave it a 9/10 rating; it’s a pretty safe bet for a sharp mayo variant. Judging by the fact that one’s stuck around ever since, and the seeming never-ending push for pickle-flavored products, we wouldn’t be surprised if Hellmann’s Pickle Mayo was with us for a while. No word on whether it’ll make it to the US yet, though…but we’re watching this vinegar-soaked space.
