It’s a magical day, folks. Every year, around this time, the 2027 innovation calendars start hitting my inbox. These super-fun secret documents are intended to prepare distribution and manufacturing partners for the following year with a rough guideline of what’s coming out when. That said, they’re also great for yours truly as a source of, well, the exact same information! This time around, I’ve got my grubby little mitts on Monster Energy‘s calendar through the middle of 2027.

This is where I have to slap a big disclaimer on today’s fun: Monster Energy hasn’t confirmed anything you’re about to read, and I have it on good authority that some of the details in the calendar I’m citing will likely change. That said, it’s a solid starting point for those of you planning your caffeine purchases 4 months in advance. Let’s tackle this release calendar the old-fashioned way: chronologically.

Monster Ultra Aloha POG Energy

Kicking off the 2027 releases is a brand-new zero-sugar Ultra flavor: Aloha POG. No, not the Twitch emote; this POG is based on the classic Passionfruit Orange Guava fruit combo. This tropical take on Monster Energy is currently slated to hit shelves just a few days after New Year’s day… meaning I might be able to get an early sample review out before the end of this year if the stars align.

Monster Killer Brew Espresso

Following up the new zero-sugar release, there are two full-sugar releases planned for the Java Monster line in early February. The finer details aren’t out there just yet, but I imagine these will be a higher-caffeine version of the existing Java Monster subline… which is confusing, since the last new addition to the Java Monster subline was the Killer Brew sub-subline of higher-caffeine drinks. Pay attention, this will all be on the quiz.

Monster Candy Apple Red Energy

Last year, Monster Energy scrapped their “Reserve” line of full-sugar energy drinks in favor of an updated pair of full-sugar energy drinks with no subtitle. Confusing! Candy Apple Red will be the third entry in this nameless category, meaning Monster Energy got the memo about apple being so in right now. Here’s hoping it’s just as in when this flavor launches in early February.

Monster Juice Razz Rocket

A brand-new Monster Juice flavor is blasting off in early February: Razz Rocket. While I don’t know for certain, I’m really hoping Razz Rocket is the Juice subline’s take on this year’s Red, White & Blue Razz rocket pop-ish Ultra flavor. (I’m drinking one of those right now–recreationally! I nearly forgot how to do that…)

Monster Rehab Classic Tea

While Monster’s Ultra line gets all the attention for, y’know, selling the most, I’m a big fan of their non-carbonated Rehab line. I don’t think Monster formally suggests this line as a hangover cure, but the hydration, vitamins, and lack of tummy-upsetting bubbles certainly wouldn’t hurt. While the line has offered teas in Peach, Wild Berry, and + Lemonade for a while now, Monster is finally adding a Classic Tea this February for those boring folks who can’t stand flavors. I expect this to be a sleeper success amongst all these flashier releases.

Monster + Protein

Lastly, we have a truly confounding release scheduled for March 2027. I’ll save my broader conjecture for a full piece, but this calendar is alleging that we’ll see two “Monster + Protein” drinks hit shelves before the end of Q1 2027. Will these be ultra-filtered skim milk shakes with the standard Monster caffeine blend? Will the claw-mark brand go against the grain and pack protein into the original formula? Only time will tell; stay tuned to Sporked for further developments on Monster Energy’s 2027 plans.
