2 New Celsius Vibe Flavors Are Dropping ASAP

I think Celsius might be the Maroon 5 of energy drinks. They’ve been unavoidable for a long time and when you give them a chance, you find out they’re reliably okay—if a little bland. (I can’t wait to hear from Maroon 5 stans.) Speaking of Celsius, there are two new Celsius Vibe flavors hitting shelves as we speak. And the crowd goes mild. Let’s get into what we should expect from Celsius Playa Vibe and Retro Vibe. 

What are Celsius Vibe flavors?

Celsius has a whole line of Vibe flavors, which are usually a bit more exotic than their main line of energy drinks. While Strawberry Kiwi and Watermelon Lemonade can be found in the standard line, you’ll find flavors like Mandarin Marshmallow in the Vibe line. Usually, if a chain gets an exclusive Celsius flavor, it’ll be a Vibe. For example, the initially Circle-K-exclusive Cosmic Vibe, which was released back in 2023.

What’s Retro Vibe going to taste like?

Retro Vibe, which has a fabulous can design, is said to be a Sparkling Sherbet Slush. I don’t want to start a riot here, but none of those words refer to a flavor. Sherbet is a dessert that could be any number of flavors, and I can say the exact same thing about slush. Reign has an established flavor called REIGNbow Sherbet; if I had to guess, I imagine this will be a similar combination of indistinguishable fruits.

What about Playa Vibe?

Celsius Playa Vibe is described right on the can as a Sparkling Piña Colada. I don’t know about y’all, but pineapple and coconut is a winning combination for me. Two of my all-time favorite energy drinks were pineapple-coconut drinks from Rockstar (may they rest in peace). And, in case you are energy drink bilingual, “playa” is beach in Spanish. I have to assume “Beach Vibe” was already trademarked by some other energy drink.

Where will these be sold?

Like I said at the start of all this, Celsius is unavoidable. Per online listings, these flavors will be available in places like Target, Walmart, and more. I’ve already found Playa Vibe on shelves at Walmart—keep an eye out for my review coming soon to Sporked.
