We Got an Early Look at the 2025 Red Bull Advent Calendar

It’s only September, but we’ve got word of a positively merry development from Red Bull. According to some super-secret documents I stumbled upon in a dark alley, Red Bull is launching advent calendars chock full of different Red Bull flavors. These will hit shelves in early November so we all have time to make room on our Red Bull mantle on the top of our Red Bull fireplace before Red Bull Christmas. 

Will people actually buy a Red Bull Advent Calendar?

Funny enough, this idea isn’t new! Last year, Red Bull launched an advent calendar in select foreign markets and people couldn’t get enough of them. The packs sold like gangbusters, partially to Red Bull fans and partially to folks who knew they could sell them to American Red Bull collectors for a healthy upcharge. Americans have such FOMO when it comes to international releases—myself included.

Where can I get the Red Bull Advent Calendar?

According to the documents I’ve seen, you’ll be able to pick up a Red Bull Advent Calendar in big box stores like Costco and Sam’s Club, as well as Target and likely Walmart. The pack of 24 8.4oz cans will retail for $44.99. Just to compare and contrast, a single-flavor 8.4oz can 24-pack costs $38.89 at Costco—not a bad upcharge for a much wider variety and a specialty box.

Will any new flavors be in the Red Bull Advent Calendar?

While the exact list of flavors isn’t included in the documents I’ve seen, there is a collection of can renders on the back of the box from which I can glean plenty of information. Of course, you’ll be getting classic Red Bull plus the Sugarfree and Zero variants. I also see the Sea Blue, Amber, and Green Editions. There’s also what looks like the Pink and Yellow Editions, but the colors aren’t identical—could be a graphical error, could be something else entirely! Finally, there’s a maroon can that I am utterly unfamiliar with…unless this year’s Summer Edition is relaunching as a permanent flavor that quickly.
