It’s been a good week for Sam’s Club’s food items in the court of public opinion. In the last seven days, we’ve seen the store bring back its much-loved seasoned fries, to the joy of many – but what we’re really interested in is the fact that it seems to be appetizer season at the store. Sam’s Club recently dropped its new Homestyle Chicken Pastry Bakes, which have so far received some rapturous reviews from its customers, and which offer everyone a take on an all-timer that makes it way more portable. Think a chicken pot pie, but one you can eat like a sandwich.

That tendency to twist is here again, in the form of its new Buffalo Chicken Crisps. Will we discuss? Oh, we’ll discuss.
Sam’s Club Member’s Mark Buffalo Chicken Crisps
This week, Sam’s Club has dropped its new Member’s Mark Buffalo Chicken Crisps, and they’re half crispy dumpling, half dip. This frozen appetizer consists of wonton shells filled with a Buffalo-style chicken dip, with shredded white-meat chicken in a mild ranch-inspired sauce. On its website, Sam’s Club says these would be great for sharing on game days. I’m personally very invested in the idea of sharing them…with myself…on any day.
Sam’s Club Member’s Mark Buffalo Chicken Crisps come in a 24-count box costing $11.44. Prices may vary, though, from store to store (what else is new, though?), so check before you buy.
And Are They Good?
Yes, they are. Well, they seem to be, anyway: Early reviews of Member’s Mark Buffalo Chicken Crisps are glowing. On Instagram, @samsclubfoodreview gave this appetizer a 9.5 out of 10, pointing out that Sam’s Club gets almost everything right here – the Buffalo flavor, the tenderness of the chicken, and the combination of chewiness and crispiness from the wonton shell all get shout-outs. The account also says that they beat Trader Joe’s Buffalo Style Chicken Poppers, which are basically the same thing – and that they’re just as good as Cheesecake Factory’s Buffalo Blasts. The only gripe was that in an ideal world, they’d have more cheese.
This sense of positivity was echoed elsewhere, with a commenter on @samsclubfavorites’ find of the product saying, “Just tried these last night and they are sooooo good!” And in case it’s not already abundantly clear, I also like the sound of these. I love me a wonton-wrapped package of anything, and these clearly pack a lot of flavor into every bite. Sign me up.
