Starbucks has had a busy summer so far. The ever-prolific coffee chain has been putting out new drinks and merch at a rapid clip, and the last couple of weeks have been especially pacy, what with it adding new refreshers to its summer menu and announcing a new upcoming tumbler (we also tried its recent Tropical Butterfly Refresher – and look, we didn’t HATE it!). Clearly, though, Starbucks isn’t done. It’s just getting started. Warming up. Rolling up its sleeves.

What for, though? For a new drink that speaks to our inner child. Here are the details.

Starbucks Orange Cream Frappuccino

Starbucks has just announced its new Orange Cream menu, which will be dropping in its stores on July 28. There are five drinks on this menu, but one of them has caught our eye immediately. Yes, it’s the Orange Cream Frappuccino, a blend of sweet orange and vanilla flavors with milk and ice, with a double dose of whipped cream to thicken things up. The drink has the exact flavor profile of an Orange Dreamsicle, which, I’m sure we can all agree, has the potential to hurl us back into pure nostalgia. We can’t quite go back in time to our childhoods, but this is probably the next best thing.

But wait, there’s more! There are four other drinks on Starbucks’ new menu to discuss! The chain is also dropping an Orange Cream Cold Brew, an Iced Orange Cream Latte, an Iced Orange Cream Matcha, and an Iced Orange Cream Chai. All of them have that dreamsicle vibe, but it’s the frappe that really captures it.

What’s With All The Orange & Cream?

It kind of is everywhere at the moment, isn’t it? Orange Dreamsicle/Creamsicle flavors have been having an extended renaissance in 2026 (or, really, since the end of 2025, with Monster’s Orange Dreamsicle flavor dropping at the tail end of last year). Recent citrus-cream-combo moves include McDonald’s bringing out a Hi-C Orange Lavaburst Orange Dream, Zevia dropping an Orange Creamsicle flavor, and Creamsicle itself teasing its new Candy Twists, which have an orange and cream option. Naturally.

So, Starbucks might even be…slightly late to this one. But do we think that there are still orange and cream products in the pipelines from other restaurants and food companies? Yes, we do. This trend’s probably not done yet, so if you hate citrus and dairy combinations, you might want to hunker down.
