If you have kids or just enjoy an easy snack, then you are definitely a fan of Uncrustables. The creamy peanut butter and rich jelly (in a lot of different flavors now, which we love) make for a perfect little grab-and-go snack.

But Uncrustables come frozen. This means that if you want one as a snack, you need to plan ahead or eat it frozen―which isn’t terrible and is kind of like an ice cream sandwich without the ice cream, but our point stands. Uncrustables require a bit more planning than your average snack. But Uncrustables has great news for you.
Safe To Store In The Fridge
Uncrustables can now be stored in the fridge!
Now, they will still be sold as frozen. But once you get them home, you can safely put them in your fridge where they’ll always be ready to grab-and-go. No more wanting a quick PB&J and having to wait an hour for it to thaw. Although, if you’ve never toasted it? Definitely try it. You will not regret it. It toasts up great in either a toaster oven or air fryer. I wonder if anyone has them battered and deep fried? New fair food anyone? And fridge storage makes those hacks even easier.
If you or your household are known for flying through the Uncrustables, your life just became more convenient. These are fridge safe with a recommended use time of five days of fridge storage. Nothing has changed about their freezer storage. You can still keep them frozen for when you need them (in case you only sometimes have a peanut butter craving), making this change even more adaptable to how you want to eat them.
This Is A Welcome Change
This move has allowed Uncrustables to be more flexible to families, especially when small kids are involved. They don’t want to wait for their sandwich. They don’t understand. And frankly, neither do we. We’re hungry―we want our PB&J now. This change allows for that flexibility. Just pop your box of Uncrustables in the fridge and your kids (or you) can enjoy this staple anytime they want. No waiting needed.
This major change covers all the flavors in their line. So whether you enjoy classic grape jelly, cinnamon apple jelly better, or mixed berry, all of these tiny sandwiches can now be easily enjoyed right from your fridge.
