Here’s the deal with the Lando Norris Zero Sugar Monster Energy flavo(u)r:

  • Lando Norros is not the flavor of the energy drink (you quite literally cannot tell that from the can).
  • The flavor is actually melon yuzu.
  • Lando Norris is in fact an F1 driver (this may be well known but I 100% thought he was a soccer [football] player when I quickly Googled him).
  • You can’t actually get Lando Norris’ Monster flavo(u)r in the U.S. yet. Just the U.K. (thus the added ‘u’ in flavor). But, according to our own Griffin Parker, it may be making its way to the States soon.

Luckily, I was in Ireland recently so I was able to try it out! Here’s my honest review of the U.K. version of Lando Norris Monster.

Lando Norris Zero Sugar Monster Energy

U.K. Monster Energy Drink!

Lando Norris Zero Sugar Monster Energy

Pros: When you crack open a can of Lando Norris’ Monster flavor, the smell is reminiscent of an orange Starburst. The taste, however, actually delivers on the melon. It comes in at a level where you could reasonably chug this right before class if you really needed to and it wouldn’t be overwhelming. I’m also happy to report that it is as neon-hued as it should be—even without the free-flowing arsenal of food dyes that we have in the States.

Cons: The yuzu gets lost in the mix of it all. Can I also say it’s a con that Lando Norris hasn’t fought to have his flavor available in the U.S. yet? That seems pretty America-centric but it’s true! Why does the U.K. get a fun Monster flavor all to themselves? This belongs where all fun drinks belong: Dollar Tree
