As I covered last month, Wendy’s has brought back their popular Thin Mints Frosty from 2025 with new options. This time around, you can now fine-tune your Thin Mints Frosty down to the finest detail: one of three sizes, a vanilla or chocolate Frosty base, and mint-chocolate cookie syrup or mint-chocolate cookie syrup with extra cookie crumbles.
Wendy’s sent over a gift card for us to try these new uber-customizable Frosty variants. While we were tempted to order all four variants, it felt unwise from a digestive perspective. If Wendy’s brings this Girl Scout collaboration back for a third go-around in 2027, we’ll review the Chocolate Frosty Swirl and the Vanilla Frosty Fusion at that time. For now, let’s check out two versions of the Thin Mints Frosty.

Original Thin Mints Frosty!

Pros: I loved this the first time around, and I love it now. Controversial opinion: if you really want the mint flavor in the Thin Mints syrup to shine, go for the Vanilla Frosty Base rather than the Chocolate. This would be a 10/10 if the second half of this review wasn’t everything here and more.
Cons: A few of my taste-testers were confused by the finely-ground cookie crumble in the mint-chocolate syrup. Whether you get the Frosty Swirl or the Frosty Fusion, you’re getting cookie crumble.

- Wendy’s Girl Scout Thin Mints Chocolate Frosty Fusion
-
Pros: Chocolate or vanilla, the Thin Mints Frosty Swirl we all enjoyed last year is without a doubt Thin Mints-flavored. This new Thin Mints Chocolate Frosty Fusion is Thin Mints. By weight, this thing has to be at least 10% cookie. I watched the Wendy’s employee scoop the Thin Mints crumble into this cup from the drive-thru window; these are serious chunks that you are not getting through a straw. Lord above, you will not have a stronger mint-chocolate experience without filling an I.V. bag with melted Andes.
Cons: If you’re a Frosty texture purist, you won’t have a great time with this–actually, you should avoid any Frosty Fusion regardless of mix-in. I’m confident I could pick out a Frosty from other milkshakes by the unique texture alone, but a Frosty Fusion is texturally identical to any other thick, topping-packed milkshake.
