Last week, I flew out to Burger King Headquarters for an early taste test of the chain’s new The Mandalorian and Grogu menu. As I dug into my Bounty Bundle of galactic menu items, I had a revelation: The sides are the real star here. While other combo meals give you standard french fries with a smile, Burger King delivered two elevated offerings as part of this collaboration. Here’s what I thought of the light and dark sides of the menu.
- Burger King Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries with Garlic Sauce Review
-
Pros: If this new menu was only these Garlic Chicken Fries and Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake, I’d still be happy; I swore out loud after my first bite. Between BK’s standard chicken fries being elevated with a dusting of garlic and the fantastic new garlic dipping sauce, I absolutely loved this. If I return to BK while this menu is available, I’ll skip the BBQ Bounty Whopper and snag two orders of these while I still can.
Cons: Much like regular ole’ potato-based fries, these aren’t great if you let them get cold. The Bounty Bundle is a hefty pile of food; you definitely want to start with these chicken fries for the best possible experience.

- Burger King Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots Review
-
Pros: These cheddar-ranch-infused tots are the best of baked potatoes in a bite-sized format. Dip these in the Garlic Chicken Fries’ garlic sauce if you really want to travel out of this world. And finally, I can get loaded tots sans bacon. I understand that bacon bits are a big deal for some people, but I’ve always been disappointed by how much extra you end up paying for minimal additional texture or flavor.
Cons: Despite being a proud Midwesterner, I’m not a big ranch girlie myself, so these weren’t entirely up my alley. That being said, I still really enjoyed the potato-cheddar portion size of it all–shocking, I know.

What’s the Bounty Bundle?
Burger King has four new menu items launching as part of this promotional menu; the “Bounty Bundle” contains all four items inside an extra-large branded carton–plus one of four 32oz collector cups, while supplies last. (Burger King has a long history with Star Wars, starting with a similar collector cup release back in 1977, promoting the launch of the very first film.) Starting at $19.99, the Bounty Bundle contains the BBQ Bounty Whopper, an 8-piece Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries with new Garlic Sauce, an 8-piece Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots, and a Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake.
