Wickles Pickles is an Alabama-based company that uses a secret recipe that’s been in their family for 90 years to make all kinds of pickled products. They started packaging their pickles for the public in 1998 and we’re glad they did. They’re delicious and some of the best store bought pickles out there.
Wickles Pickles offers two flavor categories: Dirty Dill and Wicked. According to the packaging, Dirty Dill products offer a “big dill” flavor and “pack a punch.” Likewise, Wicked products “are sweet and delicious” and have “a spicy side to them.” Both sit in the middle of the spectrum between bread and butter pickles and dill pickles—they each have elements of both pickle varieties.
We tried all the pickled veggies and relishes Wickles Pickles sells and ranked them from our least favorite to favorite so you can pick the proper pickle for your purposes. Whether you’re into sweet and spicy pickles or you’re a dill purist, Wickles Pickles has a pickle for you.
- Wicked Hula Pickles
-
Wicked Hula Pickles are for sweet pickle lovers. I am a sweet pickle liker, though, so these are way too sweet for me.

- Wicked Pickle Chips
-
Once again, these are just too sweet for me. They almost taste candied. I wish they were more of like the sweet and spicy pickles Wickles Pickles promises. If you’re obsessed with sweet pickles, however, you might be really into these and should give them a try.

- Wicked Garlic
-
I wish the Wicked Garlic from Wickles Pickles brought more garlic flavor to the table. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this pickled garlic, but I would definitely use it if was gifted to me. It would be great as a Bloody Mary garnish or chopped up to make a pickled garlic chimichurri.

- Original Relish
-
When it comes to relish, this is on the sweeter side, but I do like that it has a little extra zip and spice to it. I think this would be really good in tuna salad to cut right through the richness of the fish and mayo.

- Dirty Dill Baby Dills
-
These tiny, dilly, spicy pickles are so tasty. They’re a little less crunchy than I thought they’d be, but they still have a nice texture. They’re a great snacking pickle and a wonderful thing to throw into an adult Lunchables-style meal.

- Original Pickles
-
Not the best Wickles Pickles pickle, but definitely a great standard pickle. These have a balanced flavor and hit all the taste buds on your tongue. As promised, they are sweet and spicy pickles. Additionally, these are super versatile—you could eat them alone or use them in a ton of recipes.

- Jalapeño Relish
-
This Wicked Jalapeno Relish rules. It’s so bright and flavorful. It’s savory, tangy, a little spicy, and a tad sweet. I would mix this with cream cheese and use that as the filling for jalapeño poppers to get a double punch of ‘peño. If you’re looking for a lower effort application, just put it on a breakfast sandwich and thank me later.

- Dirty Dill Spears
-
These are wonderfully dilly and a little spicy store bought pickles. They also have a nice crunch. I would be absolutely thrilled to be served a Dirty Dill spear next to any sandwich. In a perfect world, I would coat them in a beer batter and fry them up. That’s right! I like fried pickle spears more than fried pickle chips!

- Wicked Okra
-
This isn’t Wickles best pickled okra, but it’s incredible. These okra pickles are a little sweet, a little spicy, and super tart. They’re not my favorite pickled okra from the brand, but I do really like them a lot.

- Spicy Red Sandwich Spread
-
I love this Spicy Red Sandwich Spread from Wickles Pickles. It is so zesty and sour and tangy. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It’s not super spicy, but it has a nice kick. This is similar to the cherry pepper relish at Jersey Mike’s. Adding this to any sandwich, from turkey subs to tuna salad to grilled cheese, will make it better.

- Dirty Dill Okra
-
I will die on the hill that okra is the best thing to pickle. Hands down. Wickles Pickles Dirty Dill Okra is some of the best pickled okra I’ve ever had. It’s not slimy at all. It’s crunchy. And the seeds (my favorite part) have a nice pop when you bite them.

- Dirty Dill Cocktail Cornichons
-
These are perfection. I would happily chop these up and toss them into tuna salad. I would skewer a couple of these onto a swizzle stick and use them to garnish a Bloody Mary. I would put a mound of these on a charcuterie board. I would eat these by the handful as a snack all by themselves. You really can’t go wrong with these Wickles Pickles cornichons. These dilly, lightly spicy, snappy, tiny pickles are wonderful.
