The whole point of Halloween is to hand out as much candy as you possibly can. To your neighbors, your coworkers, your classmates, yourself—and where do you go when you need a buttload of candy to satisfy all the spooky moochers in your life? Costco, of course! The name of the game is buying in bulk and, boy, are we ready to spend. Here’s the best Costco halloween candy we spotted on a recent visit.
- Kirkland Signature Favorites Candy Variety
-
Previously known as “Kirkland Signature All Chocolate,” this Costco Halloween candy mix is now called “Favorites,” and it still rules. It includes a whopping ten varieties of chocolate candy, including bangers like Peanut M&M’s, Snickers, Twix, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups—is that you’re bound to like one or two, so you can sneak those out of the bowl for yourself and your neighbors will be none the wiser! FWIW, this is also Sporked‘s favorite Halloween candy assortment.

- Kirkland Signature Funhouse Treats Variety Pack
-
This is the sugary yang to the chocolate yin, a fruity complement to the plethora of chocolate candy that’s being passed out on Halloween. A bag of Kirkland Signature Funhouse Treats comes with a wide assortment of sugary candies that is in fact too wide to list (but if you’re curious, think mini Twizzlers, Laffy Taffy, little packets of Haribo Goldbears, and Sour Punch Straws). If you get a lot of trick-or-treaters, I say grab this bag of Costco Halloween candy and the chocolate variety bag, too. You’ll be the most accommodating house on the block thanks to Costco!

- Nerds Gummy Cluster Variety Pack
-
This is a modernization of the aforementioned sugary variety pack, a passing of the torch if you will. Nerds gummy clusters are (rightfully) getting their time in the spotlight and this Halloween candy variety pack from Costco is here to celebrate that. This 75-count bag comes with three different flavors: Very Berry, Spooky, and Rainbow. A bit of a stretch on the naming here (what ever happened to just using actual flavors to describe a product?!) but they’re Nerds gummy clusters so at the very least the tang and sweetness will be present. That’s all that really matters.
- General Mills Halloween Trick or Treat Edition Variety Pack
-
This is an upgrade, right? These aren’t candies, they’re fruit snacks. But they’re still fun as hell, so you can be the sensible house on the block without handing out apples or mini tubes of toothpaste. Your neighbors who have to pack lunches for their kids will thank you, and your neighbors without kids will thank you for reintroducing them to the joys of Fruit Roll-Ups, Gushers, and Fruit by the Foot.

- Full Size Candy Bar Variety Pack
-
Everyone remembers the house on the block that handed out full-size candy bars. They were the pinnacle of wealth when you’re a child. Now you can be the full-size candy bar house for less than a dollar a bar thanks to this Costco Halloween candy variety pack that includes Skittles, Starburst, 3 Musketeers, M&M’s, Peanut M&M’s, and Snickers. Granted, the number of visitors you get on Halloween can vary depending on where you live, so it can get a little pricey. If you’re willing to cough up that kind of cash to get some serious street cred around the neighborhood, this is the best Costco Halloween candy to buy.

- Utz Bats & Jacks Shaped Pretzels
-
Every kid is going to have a heaping bag full of candy by the end of the night. What they need is a bit of saltiness to even things out when they’re digging in. That’s where the Utz Halloween pretzels from Costco come in to save the day! They come individually packaged so you don’t have to bust out the Ziploc bags or awkwardly dish them out by the handful. Plus, the brand ditched the gigantic plastic tub these used to come in and now you’ll find them in a more biodegradable cardboard box. It’s not the most glamorous pick from Costco, but it’s a savvy one.

- Reese’s Miniature Candy Assortment
-
I really did mull over this last one for a long time. It feels wrong to not include Reese’s peanut butter pumpkins in a Halloween haul. But that’s too obvious. You know Reese’s pumpkins and you’re going to get Reese’s pumpkins. You and six other houses on your block. Set yourself apart by passing out the new Oreo/Reese’s collab! This assortment has the classic Reese’s but the new and (in our opinion) improved Reese’s with bits of Oreo in the middle. And of course, just buy yourself a few packs of Reese’s pumpkins to get you through the year ahead.
