Anyone who’s ever seen the range of international Oreo flavors knows we’re being deprived of so many interesting cookies. Case in point, just a few weeks ago, I picked up cheese-flavored Oreos from Taiwan. No, they aren’t cream cheese or cheesecake—these are cheese flavored Oreos based on a particularly salty Chinese cheese. (Vote below on whether I should review them for Sporked.)
This year, the American arm of Oreo has decided to bring a few of those unique, international flavors to the motherland in a single cookie made in a very small quantity. I was honored with an early pack of these new “small batch” Cherry Blossom Matcha Oreo Thins to review here on Sporked. Let’s crack open the cookies before I think too hard about how much they’ll go for on eBay.
Wait, can I even get my hands on these new Oreos?
I’m not sure! The brand made only 1,000 packs of these new Oreo Thins and they’re tricky to get. If you signed up on this Oreo Cherry Blossom Matcha page before 5/10/25, you should get an email with a special code. On 5/15/25 at 10am PST, everyone who signed up can enter that code at checkout to order one of those 1,000 packs for the cost of shipping and handling—$13. That’s so many steps!
While I appreciate the attempt to discourage snack scalpers (a species I fight regularly in the course of writing for Sporked), there has to be a less convoluted way to get these into the hands of actual fans.
