It probably comes as absolutely no surprise that theme parks like Disneyland have some big plans for this year’s Independence Day. It’s the 250th anniversary of the very first one, after all – and for the last couple of months, we’ve seen a steady drip of food and drinks releases from the likes of Dunkin’, Bang Energy, Pillsbury, Mountain Dew, and, well, kind of everyone else. Well, Disneyland wasn’t gonna be outdone, was it?

No, it was not – and we’ve finally got a look at what it’s got in store on the food front for its July 4 celebrations. In the lead-up to the holiday, Disneyland has released some new menu items across several of its food spots, and we’ve got the lowdown on what it’s sellin’.

Disneyland July 4 Foods

Disney revealed the release of its new Disneyland food options on Instagram last week, and they arrived at the park on May 21. There are five new foods, and one collectible (which also contains food, and which isn’t quite in parks yet) – and they are…

  • S’Mores Marshmallow Wand: A marshmallow stick dipped in chocolate and adorned with a vanilla drizzle, followed by a scattering of red, white and blue star-shaped sprinkles and crushed graham crackers. You can find this one at various candy locations across the resort.
  • Rocket Soda: Available at Refreshment Corner, this drink is made with Sprite, blue raspberry syrup, whipped cream, and topped with cherry boba pearls. And yes, you’ve probably figured it out: This is one of Disney’s entries into the dirty soda game, which has swept the nation.
  • Red, White & Blue Punch: A red and white layered drink topped with another swirl of whipped cream. Find it at Smokejumpers Grill.
  • Apple Pie Churro: Kind of exactly what it sounds like, this one! A churro crowned with apple pie filling, whipped cream, and a caramel drizzle. It’s available at Willie’s Churros.
  • Patriotic Mickey Caramel Apple: A caramel apple partly dipped in blue frosting and in the shape of Mr. Mickey Mouse himself (well, his ears, anyway), finished with a white drizzle and sprinkles. Like the new S’Mores Marshmallow Wand, this can be found around the park at select candy locations.
  • Sam Eagle Bucket: A collectible popcorn bucket in the shape of the eponymous Muppets character, which can be found at most popcorn carts throughout the park (while supplies last).

It’s worth noting that the Sam Eagle Bucket’s arrival has been slightly delayed: Although it was originally slated to arrive on May 21, it’ll now be dropping later this summer. We’ll be keeping our eyes out for it.
