Every time I post about a non-carbonated energy drink, the proud and few bubble haters are in the comments expressing their non-effervescent joy. Well, today’s new product review is for them. I have two new fizz-free energy drinks from Celsius to review. Celsius’ Fizz-Free line is hit or miss for me, so I’m looking forward to checking out two new exclusive additions to that lineup. Let’s get caffeinated, y’all.
- Celsius Dragon Fruit Lime Fizz-Free Energy
-
Pros: Dragon fruit and lime is a new combination for me, but the two fruits work together to present a strong tropical front. The balance isn’t exactly 50-50, but this is a unique pairing that I fully expect other companies to rip off borrow in the future.
Cons: This is a rare statement: The lime is really overpowering the other fruit in this drink. We’re all used to lime as a filler fruit, but this is a lime-heavy drink. And, call me boring, but I’d love to see Celsius release this flavor in their standard carbonated format.

- Celsius Pink Lemonade Fizz-Free Energy
-
Pros: I’ve had a couple pink lemonade energy drinks before; this is the most lemony one to date. This tastes like homemade lemonade, almost to a fault. Some of my fellow taste testers were put off by the tartness, but I absolutely loved it. Celsius has released a few drink-flavored energy drinks already; the Fizz-Free line is perfectly suited to replicate non-carbonated drinks. I’m hoping for a non-carbonated fruit punch a la Cosmic Vibe next.
Cons: “Pink lemonade” isn’t really a singular flavor, but this didn’t feel particularly pink. (For one, the actual color of this drink is a strong yellow.) Alani Nu’s “Kimade” definitely pulled off the pink lemonade vibe better. This drink is not giving “Hi, Barbie!”

Where can I get these new Celsius flavors for myself?
Both of these are exclusive to their own convenience store chains—you won’t find them sitting next to each other anywhere but a warehouse. Celsius Pink Lemonade is exclusive to the 7-Eleven family of stores (including Speedway and Stripes, depending on your region), while the Celsius Dragon Fruit Lime is exclusive to Circle K stores.
