War never changes, but the soda aisle is always changing. Case in point, Jones Soda is expanding their Fallout-inspired flavor lineup with two new Nuka variants sometime this year. While the bottles shown above are listed in a major grocer’s online catalogue, another retailer informed me that these new sodas are delayed for unknown reasons. While we don’t know exactly when these drinks will be available, we’ve at least got the details on what the next Fallout sodas will be.

Which new Nuka-Cola flavors is Jones Soda producing?

Per Meijer, we’ll see Nuka-Orange and Nuka-Cherry sodas join the Jones x Fallout soda lineup. These are pretty classic flavors, so I’m sure the beverage-enjoying public at large will enjoy these cane-sugar sodas regardless of whether they’ve seen or played anything in the Fallout universe. That said, I think Jones Soda could get a little wilder moving forward; even their recent sarsaparilla got good reviews from folks who’d never even heard the word before.

How many Fallout Jones Soda flavors are there now?

Nuka-Orange and Nuka-Cherry bring the total to six Nuka-Cola flavors in recent memory, joining Nuka-Cola Quantum, Nuka-Cola Victory, Nuka-Grape Cola (which is definitely not a cola, but I digress), and Sunset Sarsaparilla. While many of those flavors are sold out, it looks like Jones Soda is capitalizing on the rabid fanbase’s desperation for rocket-shaped bottles that don’t leak over time; pre-orders for the first new batch of Nuka-Cola Quantum in game-accurate rocket bottles are already sold out.

What flavors could be next?

The Fallout universe has plenty of other Nuka variants ripe for production from Jones Soda, but there’s a pretty obvious pick for the next Fallout soda: Nuka-Cola! Genuinely, how has it taken this long for the original Nuka-Cola to hit shelves? My best guess is there’s some sort of legalese keeping it off shelves; perhaps the design is just too close to the lawyered-up cola down the aisle?

If Nuka-Cola isn’t on the table, there are plenty more options I’d love to see Jones Soda tackle. While we likely won’t see the alcoholic Nuka-Cola Dark, there’s no reason we can’t slap the Nuka-Cola Wild label on Jones’ existing root beer recipe. Nuka-Cola Twist doesn’t have a canon flavor description; with that red-and-green color scheme, this seems like a great opportunity to do Cherry Limeade. (I’m probably biased; IBC’s Cherry Limeade is one of my favorite glass-bottle sodas.)
