While Liquid Death started loudly and proudly as just water, the brand has recently dug out a healthy niche in the “soda-flavored” sparkling water market. I tried the original trio of root beer, cola, and “pepper soda” inspired flavors last January, but Liquid Death has now retroactively assigned all their flavored sparkling waters the “soda-style” label. We can argue the veracity of Fruity Pebbles-flavored water being anything close to soda later; for now, let’s talk about three brand new “soda-style” Liquid Death sparkling waters that actually feel like sodas.

What are the three new Liquid Death flavors?
We’re getting Liquid Death’s take on three very classic soda flavor profiles: Killbert Grape, Sinister Ginger, and MTN Don’t. While Killbert Grape and MTN Don’t translate plainly to grape soda and legally distinct high-elevation citrus soda, Sinister Ginger is less explicitly specific. Is this Liquid Death’s version of ginger ale or ginger soda? While the former is a lovely treat we all enjoy on airplanes, the latter is basically only good for clearing your sinuses and mixing into cocktails. While I prefer ginger ale, the innate bitterness of sparkling water would actually lend itself very well to a ginger beer concept.
Where can I get the new Liquid Death sparkling waters?
Folks, I wish this were a simple question. These are very new, so the finer details of the release aren’t public just yet. Sinister Ginger is available now in a new “Classic Soda” variety pack on Amazon. (If you’re thinking of checking it out for yourself, order here to support what we do here at Sporked.) Killbert Grape currently has a product listing at Five Below of all places, and per my friends at Liquid Death, it’ll also end up on QuikTrip shelves. As for MTN Don’t, I haven’t found any nationwide retailer listings just yet. Luckily, Liquid Death is super active on social media; I’m expecting information on these flavors’ retail availability stuffed inside a wild social media post any day now.
What’s coming next from Liquid Death?
Liquid Death is easily one of our most unpredictable beverage brands. It seems like they reveal a crazy new collaboration every few days. That said, we do know at least one upcoming release from the Hot Topic of water companies—but we’ll be waiting for it. At last year’s NACS Expo (a convenience store trade show), Liquid Death revealed they’re releasing a Feastables Peanut Butter Cup-flavored sparkling water just in time for Halloween 2026. Terrifying.
