Nostalgia is all the rage right now, and if you’ve been reminiscing about flower crowns, twiddling a fidget spinner, and wondering why the “romp-him” (rompers for men, that is) never took off, you simply can’t think back to 2017 without one very specific Starbucks drink coming to mind: the Unicorn Frappuccino.

Nine years ago, the Unicorn Frappuccino was everywhere, but it was especially viral on social media. The colorful pink-purple and blue drink topped off with plenty of whipped cream and matching (and sparkly) sprinkles was absolutely everywhere. Fans have been clamoring for its return—but aside from a brief reappearance at Coachella this year, the majestic, mythical Frappuccino hasn’t been available.
Well, until today, that is.
Yep, You Can Get The Unicorn Frappuccino Again
Starbucks is no stranger to viral concoctions, and this weekend, one of its most viral creations is back. The Unicorn Frappuccino has finally reappeared at Starbucks—and yes, it’s just as good as you remember.
Not only does it look just like it did in its original incarnation, but the Unicorn Frapp also tastes just the same. It’s still oh-so-sweet and mouth-puckeringly tart (in all of the best ways, of course). The iconic creaminess and mango flavor profile will transport you right back to sunny days in 2017.
Today’s Unicorn Frappuccino at Starbucks is still made with mango flavoring and a healthy serving of whipped cream on top of its pink-, purple-, and blue-hued base. Starbucks has used the original recipe to recreate the viral beverage.
And yes, this tropical-tasting, kind of candy-like drink will still change colors as you sip it, creating a magical experience from start to finish.
But It Won’t Stick Around For Long
If you’ve been waiting for the chance to sip a Unicorn Frappuccino, good news: you can go pick one up today at your go-to Starbucks location.
But unfortunately, it won’t stick around for long. This popular Frappuccino is only back for a limited time—a very limited time. You can only get it on Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th.
And this boldly colorful Starbucks drink is also only available while supplies last. Should your local Starbucks run out of the ingredients needed to whip one up, that’s the end of its run.
Don’t hesitate this weekend if you think you might want to sip that sweet yet sour Unicorn Frappuccino. The clock is ticking, and just like the mythical creature it’s named after, this wildly popular drink could disappear suddenly.
