Vianai’s Halloween Pick: Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods with Sprinkles

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love dressing up, I love the decorations, I love the haunted houses and I love making fun concoctions to match the season. Now, I have to remind you guys about something: I don’t like chocolate. Sometimes, I catch myself being hypocritical because I act like a shallow candy hater most of the year and end up eating sweets like a mad woman during the holidays. But one thing I will eat whenever is a bag of pretzels. Any kind from plain, lightly salted, to even yogurt covered.

One of my fondest Halloween memories goes back to the 5th grade. My cowgirl costume consisted of sparkles, heavy cow print, and leather boots that made my ankles itch. A neighborhood fan favorite to say the least. Because I wasnt a fan of trick-or-treating, my mom would take me to the store to collect chocolate-covered pretzels instead. We went through a few brands until we came across one specific one from none other than Target. Oh, good ol’ Target. Favorite Day Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods with Sprinkles were the ones! A long pretzel stick dipped in chocolate with rainbow sprinkles. It was so good, it had me questioning; maybe I do like chocolate? Maybe I do like sprinkles? Maybe I was being fake ?? Maybe. But this is the sweetness I could dig. The milk chocolate is so smooth and just sweet enough for me to savor it. It’s lightly coated with Halloween sprinkles—light enough for me to not even notice they’re there. I’ll take these over Snickers any day. If you’re lazy as hell, going to the Halloween function, and have no idea what to bring, grab these pretzels. The dude in the Spongebob costume will appreciate you in advance.
