9 Underrated Aldi Products, According to You

Aldi is seriously slept on. After asking our Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook followers to tell us their favorite underrated Aldi products, we understand that even more now—the response was pretty insane! And no, this is not the first time we’ve asked for our readers’ input for our grocery haul, nor the second. But if you think we’re above milking formats that seem to work for us, think again, pal. Think again.

Park Street Deli Pork Carnitas

“This is the Pork Carnitas, so delicious every time and great for a low prep meal.” —@wolfofherkimer

I read this at the end of my workday, went home, and ordered pork carnitas tacos for dinner. I’m one thousand percent serious. (From a restaurant, but still). I was…*shudder*…influenced. These just looked so darn tasty.

Emporium Selection Honey Goat Cheese

“Don’t know if it’s underrated, but their honey goat cheese SLAPS.” —@KanraKixystix

Honey, I goat a cheesy joke for you! Sorry, sorry, that was uncalled for. In all seriousness, goat cheese with honey sounds amazing and I’m going to buy it asap. I need more sweet cheese in my life. In the form of food, not puns.

Bake Shop New York Style Cheesecake Sampler

“This! I love their cheesecake.” —@kellsbells75162

You had me at cheesecake! But this is so much more than a cheesecake—it’s a cheesecake sampler. Strawberry, turtle, and triple chocolate? All for little old me? I’ll take eighty.

Choceur Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

“These are insane” —@ImAnthonYeti

I’d like to bite into that hunk of peanut butter filling right now and forget all of my problems. Yep. That’s what I’d like to do. And these suckers ranked pret-ty high on our list of the best Aldi chocolate, fwiw.

Clancy’s Pub Style Seasoned Pretzels

“Clancy’s Pub Style Seasoned Pretzels 🤤🧄🧅” —@miss_mckenzee

And they’re reasonably priced. Garlic and onion is such a classic flavor combo, and I feel like I don’t see it enough when I’m shopping for pretzels? Definitely underrated.

Live G Free Gluten Free General Tso’s Chicken

“This! Gluten Free General Tso’s Chicken. The closest thing you can get to Panda Express for someone with celiac or a gluten intolerance.” —Megon Ann

Yep. In an alternate timeline, this would come straight from a Panda Express gluten free menu (if only they had one in this timeline…sigh). But Aldi’s gluten free options are pretty great, so I shouldn’t be surprised! A win for the GF girlies.

Millville Toaster Tarts

“Their pop tarts> name brand.” —Haley Farrington

We asked for hot takes and you know what, this definitely is. I assume Aldi pop tarts are also cheaper than the name brand, and that should definitely count for something. Should we put them to the test?

ALL of their cereal

“ALL of their cereal.” —Corinne Butler

We’re so glad you think so, Corinne. But I think we can agree…some are better than others
